6500 and WSJT-X working great, took a little bit to find the right combination but after watching the QRZ and FACEBOOK posting with a video about the answer was found. It's smooth sailing now. Now if someone can figure out and gets good band conditions hi hi.

Can you supply the QRZ and Facebook links?

I tried everything I could not get it to work for more than a minute0

I've been trying to get it to work tonight.
If anyone has links to the current install process or configuration that'd be great.
Here's my configuration
WSJT-X v. 1.5
Rig: FlexRadio 6xxx
Network Server: Blank
Mode: Data/Pkt
Split Op: None
PTT Method: CAT
Input: DAX Audio RX1
Output: DAX Audio TX1
I can see information in waterfall, however frequency is set to something crazy and I continually get errors that say "Rig Failure"
"Hamlib error: IO error while opening connection to rig"

Ok hang on I'll find a link to the thread that explains why that won't work, but for now there is a zen/helpdesk article that has the correct setup at ...

Found "one" of the why threads.

What I found with setting up WSJT-X is that you need to restart it then make the change, you can have the settings correct and it wont work unless you restart the program before making a change. This is my setup with my 6500.

Right WSJT-X writes changes to it's config files when you close it. It should start using changes as they are made.
