Got some peripherals to attach to the FLEX 6500 I'm curious I'm not sure about the ground connections on pin 6, 7, and 8. if those pins are tied to the same ground as Pin #5, or if they are floating The peripherals are the Signalink and KamPlus thanks Jim WU5E

From a DC point of view they appear to be tied together. and you're probably be okay assumed they are. How closely they are tied together from an audio/rf point of view, I can not say. AL, K0VM

I am using the Navigator and the cable I am using between the Navigator and the Flex 6700 has pins 6,7, and 8 tied together to Audio ground in the Navigator and pin 5 is separate and goes to its own ground pin on the Navigator. Unfortunately I can't tell if they are tied together internally on the Navigator.
