Not sure if there is a gremlin in 3.1.11 but since updating the  6500 has lost connection with the lan twice in the last 2 days.  Im using a wired network connection.  The 6500 wont shut down, have to hold on/off button in for a few seconds for radio to reboot.  Anyone else seeing it?

did you do a factory reset after the new update? You need to.

I don't know if that will help with lost connections, but it should shut down ok now.
To find out why it's losing connection sometimes, try connecting directly to your radio for a few days ans bypass your network. If this helps then I would be the network hickup.

I forgot to do the factory reset and experienced radio crashes as well. After factory reset and reloading profiles all is well. Radio has been on 24X7 for days now with no disconnects. Perhaps engineering can add a popup to the upgrade process alerting the Op to the necessity to do a factory reset after firmware updates.

It is clearly mentioned in the release notes.
