To operate 60m FT8 I need to reduce the TX Filter High Cut to 1000 but can find no way of saving this setting. It is very laborious to keep doing it manually - Can anyone please help?
Many thanks

save your setting in a tx profile0

Save a Mic Profile as something like “60M FT8”. And then use it whenever you are on 60M FT8. But I would suggest checking your frequency limits. At least in the US We can go a little wider than that. Perhaps your “zero beat” Carrier frequency is off”. We can use a 2.8KHz bandwidth here. Is the UK different?0

Thanks Ken, yes, I can set it in Mic Profile but was trying to use Tx Profile which seems more logical when using FT8 and DAX!
We have a 1KHz slot here in the Uk for FT8 and of course we have to be careful we don't operate so that we go outside,0 -
Been trying to use TX profile but found as you say it needs Mic Profile. Thanks0

OK thanks for the update on UK rules for 60M
Yes. Initial releases had Mic Profiles as part of the TX profiles. Back about Version 1.5 or so, they separated the audio stuff from the power level, antenna, TX output port switching and sequencing stuff and called it Mic Profiles. It may have been better to call them "Audio Profiles." (But Mic is shorter and fits the pull down label better).
Since FT8 and other Digital modes were previously generated as AFSK in legacy radios, they kept the "audio" connection concept and incorporated them into DAX (Digital Audio eXchange). BTW, be sure to use DigU and NOT USB for digital modes, since they take the TX EQ, and PROC out of the loop.
Then you can link your DIGU or FT8 profile to the DIGU mode and the rig will remember it, and switch between it and you regular Mic Profile used for SSB.
Good luck
