I have a flex 6300. just upgraded to 4.2.20 crashes

i I have a flex 6300. just upgraded to 4.2.20. radio upgraded fine. But when i start the software on my computer (windows 11) the software opens and the starts to run. then the software crashes and gives me a lost connection error message. does this over and over until i stop it. the radio runs fine on my ipad. any ideas?

    works with my laptop, just wont work with my desktop. dont think reset will work.

    HI Clint… looks like the desktop install somehow **** up. Have you tried uninstalling, reset the computer, then re-dowload and re-install?

    BTW. the software on the iPAD is totally different from SmartSDR for Windows. (different author and specifically written for Apple environs).

    yes i uninstalled it and reinstalled it. i installed it on my laptop and it worked. i think the problem is i forgot to uninstall the 2version before.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
