Interlock preventing transmission. (Apple IMAC)

Hello first does Marcus (DL8MRE) provide support for the Apple IMAC version too ? Or does he just support the Apple IOS version ?

Second. I just purchased a new Apple IMAC and installed Flex smart SDR and for the first hour I had no problems with transmitting. But after letting it run for a while the Interlock problem showed up. Now when I press the PTT Interlock is preventing transmission. No on Apple IOS on the iPhone the radio transmit works fine fine. I did a google search on this issue and what I got was that this is a known bug/issue. So I am looking for some feedback from other IMAC users.

    Update to my post this interlock issue is also happening on my PC's too. I was thinking this was just with the IMAC.

    Try this, as it worked for me.

    SmartSDR→Settings→Extended→Reset Radio Client ID

    Although the SmartSDR is anything but smart.

    I have had nothing but trouble with it since I bought the Flex 6400 in2021.

    The latest problem is that WSJT-X and the microphone will key the radio, but the radio will not modulate the signal. I am transmitting a carrier only, and Marcus has been less than helpful.

    The Smart SDR software arbitrarily stops performing random functions when no changed have been made. Extremely frustrating!
