A CALL TO FELLOW FLEX RADIO 6700 USERS

Options

I am attempting to find the working combination of SLICE MASTER and a FLEX SmartSDR version for the Flex Radio 6700. I have been told that at one point with the use of a certain version of SLICE MASTER  and a certain version of SmartSDR the complete use of all eight slices provided by the 6700 was possible. Resent SmartSDR versions more suitable to the newer Flex Radio product line will not work. I understand that work is being done by the SLICE MASTER developer to allow for the changes but no completion date is available at this time. As the Flex Radio 6700 is considered an older radio now discontinued by Flex Radio I can see how using older software makes sense. Rich AA2MF rcariello49@gmail.com

Hi Rich… I use version g quite successfully with my 6700. HOWEVER, I will predicate that with I run mainly SSB and CW. No use of FT-8 or any of the other digital modes.

I would reach out to Don from SliceMaster and see what he has planned.

What feature are you missing that you really like?

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
