FLEX8600 and WSJT-X no output

Hello,

I wonder if anyone else has noticed this.

I am running a flex8600, windows 11 pro and wsjt-x. Using SMARTSDR v4.2.20

Sometimes when I use FT8 everything looks good but no output signal is generated from the flex8600.

When this occurs DAX shows the TX stream looking normal with signal present but nothing on the smartsdr LEVEL display.

I tried the following.

1 shutdown all the software, smartsdr, log4om and wsjt-x. then restarted them. The result was no change

2 shutdown all the software again and restarted windows 11 then restarted all the software again. The result was no change.

3 shutdown all the software again and restarted the flex8600. Restarted the software again. The result is that the issue was resolved.

I don't know why sometimes this occurs but maybe its because I use CW sometimes before using FT8, maybe something in the flex8600 gets set for cw and doesn't reset when changing to DIGU mode.

Has anyone had this issue too? If so is there a workaround other than recycling the radio?

When this occurs, if you're not using 'Fake it' or 'split' in WSJT, verify that the WSJT TX tone is with in the

SSDR 'Phone' panel 'Low Cut/High Cut' limits.
