Webroot SecureAnywhere

Just as a heads up, we have had a couple of customers using Webroot SecureAnywhere software that submitted helpdesk tickets that detailed extremely slow (5 min) startup times with SmartSDR v4.2+. If you use this software, the solution is to add the SmartSDR executables to the SecureAnywhere whitelist (exemption). I figured I would put this note here on the community in case other people run into this to save them some time getting to a solution.

    Just wanted to push this to the top again as we continue to see helpdesk tickets with this issue. If you are trying to run SmartSDR v4.2+ and you're running Webroot SecureAnywhere, you may experience SmartSDR looking like it isn't starting. In reality, it is being put into "monitor" status by SecureAnywhere's Active Process Protection where it stays for ~5 minutes.

    If you are having trouble starting SmartSDR with the latest version, check for this.

    We have initiated conversations with Webroot in order to get SmartSDR whitelisted and will see if that helps moving forward.

    Good news: We heard back from Webroot today that thanks to logs submitted from several of our customers, SmartSDR is now whitelisted and this shouldn't present a problem moving forward.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
