JTDX no longer working after SSDR update

Hi all

I just did the version 4.2.20 update that went smoothly.

BUT JTDX no longer works. All settings were unchanged, so they should have worked immdiately. I no longer have reception in the wide graph, and the lower right indicator on JTDX shows no signal.

What could have changed in the Flex settings ?

I did not get it right in your last question so the answer here is probably something other than:

In the SSDR Slice Flag, is DAX set to Channel 1?

Is DAX set to on in the Phone/CW Panel (right hand side of UI)?

In the SSDR DAX Panel, RX Streams, is Channel 1 lit green showing it is on and streaming?

In JTDX Settings>Audio, the correct end point is still set (DAX RX 1 FlexRadio DAX)?

    Monitor is on in JTDX?

    Hi Erik

I think you pinpointed the problem. The answer to your questions is yes to all, except the one about the SSDR DAX panel.

There, Chanel 1 is blue, and does not seam to be streaming. The IQ Stream #1 is blue onb the lower part of that panel, and says "ready".

How do I correct that please ?

    • You definitely actually have DAX channel "1" assigned to your active receiving Slice. Open the Slice Flag menu and ensure DAX 1 is selected.
    • JTDX is running and the correct end point is set in Setting>Audio>Input? If not, the DAX button will be Blue because nothing is connected to it.
    • If one of the above is not the reason, close JTDX and close DAX. Reopen DAX and JTDX. Any change?

Here is what I got in JTDX. I believe this is correct.

I closed both JTDX and DAXC, reopened… no change… I even rebooted the computer to no avail.

Paul, that is not correct. Click the down arrow on the right hand side of Input and select DAX RX 1 (FlexRadio DAX)

    Bingo, you nailed it !

My previous setup was working with DAX Audio RX1, so the SSDR update must have changed something there…

    Thanks a lot Erik !

I replied too fast… I do have reception and decoding, BUT no power out when TXing.

The PTT does work, the slider on JTDX is all the way up. I have once again restarte'd both SSDSR and JTDX.

The RF power on SSDR is at 100, on JTDX the Pwr is also all the way up. I do get power out on a SSDR tune, but not on a JTDX tune…

    Where to look please ?
