Upgrading SmartSDR on a remote radio
Reading the release notes for 4.2.20, Flex advises you to "cold boot" the radio as part of the upgrade process. For those of you running a radio purely remotely (which includes me), how do you accomplish this?
I have a Raspberry Pi with a relay HAT connected to the remote on terminal. That's how I power the radio on and off remotely, but I'm guessing this doesn't count as a cold boot?

A cold boot includes removing power after the radio is shut off. If you have a way to remotely shut off your power supply, that will work.
If not, just do a re-boot without shutting the power supply down. It will most likely be OK until you get a chance to do a proper cold boot.

I don't (yet) have a way to remotely shut off the power supply. As a retired IT admin / devops engineer, I couldn't think of a good reason why you would really need to cycle the power, so I'll do the reboot (FRStack makes that easy), and see how it goes. Thanks.
