8600 External Bootup Indicator

I have my 8600, PGXL, and TGXL in a room separate from my shack/operating position. Is there a way to know when the 8600 has booted up other than watching for the flashing green on/off button to turn solid green?

Start SmartSDR and leave it showing the Radio Chooser. Once the radio is ready to go, you can click on it to connect to the radio.

Yes, the radio will appear in the radio chooser once the radio is booted and ready for a client connection.

I do it with Node Red. In Node Red it shows the radio model, frequency, and my call when the radio completes boot. Then client nickname and IP address when the client connects. Handy for seeing if others are connected to the radio at a glance.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu.
