SWR faults on 6 meters even with good dummy load connected

I was going to work MS on six and hit the tune button to check that my SWR was OK. I always do this before transmitting. I got an SWR fault. I connected a good dummy load and still get the SWR fault. On the antenna it receives OK. Any ideas what would cause that?

Once you have confirmed that it isn't a problem with the jumper cables, and you hve reset the radio, open a support ticket so we can look into it.

    Mike,

I have added comments to Tim on an already opened support ticket involving the full scale values for the power meter which could be connect to the problem.

Is there a procedure for resetting the radio without losing all my current settings? The instructions discourage resetting the Aurora to factory default.

No. That is why we call it a reset. :)

But, you can backup (export) your profiles.

I discussed this with Tim and resetting the Aurora is not an issue.

But, I would like to track down what you saw about resetting so I can look into it.

I am using SmartSDR Software User Guide Rev 4.1.5 March 26

Section 40 says: "This should only be used as a last resort. If you are having trouble with your radio, please submit a HelpDesk support request."

Factory resetting is mentioned several times in the document.

Good news. The xmt antenna was changed to ANT1 but my ANT2 is for 6m. I did not change that. I was on six yesterday and everything was OK. I made no changes before I shut down and this morning I didn't think to see if the antenna was changed but it was. I switched the xmt antenna to ANT2 and no SWR faults.

Everything seems to work OK now on six.

Changing the 6m antenna hasn't resolved the problem with the power meter full scale.
