"log out of SmartLink " in preparation for SmartSDR 4.2 ?

I am following Tim's February 2026 instructions for uninstalling 4.1.5 in preparation for installing 4.2 . The instructions say log out of Smartlink for SmartSDR, DAX and CAT . I have logged out of SSDR and DAX but CAT shows only a "unregister" option. Is that the equivalent of logging out ?

    Andy, I am pretty sure you can safely ignore that. I just updated 4 radios and didn't log out of any of them and I didn't have any issues.

    I can safely say that we do try to catch all the things that might cause a problem during an upgrade as they are expensive meaning that it costs money to do post sales support and it annoys the customer too! I do a lot of testing of playing the person that doesn't read the release notes. :)

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
