On version 4.0.1, I can’t seem to save anything under CWX Setup
After entering a string to transmit, it works fine until I change bands or profiles. Nothing is saved. I know it is saved with global profiles so I saved it there both with and without the auto save on. I don’t remember it being that hard to do.

Try resetting the radio.

I have the same problem that my stings are gone if i change band or i start Smartsdr again!
Reset in this situatuion does nothing change .0 -
Sorry, I have load my settings after the Reset.
Now without my old Profiles it works!

I did a factory reset and they only last until I reboot, then they are gone again.
Just when I think they are working, they disapear.

I had the same problem with 3.9.x, 3.10.x and 4.0.1. Had to revert to 3.8.23, now everything works.

As a data point, I was having difficulty saving messages in CWX, but found a solution:
After making a change to a message, I needed to hit TAB a couple times to move to the next message. At that point, I could go to Profiles > Save Global Profile > and then choose whatever profile to save to (I have a profile for CW, so I saved to that one). I have tested by changing profiles, then going back to my CW profile, and the updated CW messages are there. I also closed and re-opened SmartSDR, and the updated CW messages are there.
This is with SmartSDR v4.1.5 free on a 6600.
