Speaker mute with headphones plugged in
I recently purchased a Maestro C and very happy with it. One small annoyance, when I plug in my headphones with mic via the Y cable, it does not mute the Maestro speaker, which the manual says is what should happen. The headphones and associated mic connector is the correct version, and both work fine, but plugging them in does not mute the speaker. Is there a fix for this?

Hi Randy, just to be clear - you are plugging the headphones into the jack on the back of the Maestro, not the back of the radio, right?

Maybe the manual is wrong. If you plug powered speakers in to the powered speaker jack, it will mute the Maestro speaker, but as mine does, plugging a headset in the Y connector head phone/ mic jack does not mute the front speaker.

I haven't tried this but if you go into MENU and Audio and Mute Master Volume, you will still get audio out of the headphone. I'll have to try that later. I'm chasing 3Y0K.
