Band limit power settings
Hi,
I propose that in the next version of SmartSDR there should be the possibility of setting a power limit in the TX Band settings table so that the power data on each band is permanently saved. We work with different amplifiers and entering a permanent power limit on each band will allow for safe PA control.

Yes, please! Essential to be able to limit the power to a PA or antenna that has a power limit.0

This won't be in a future version just yet.
However, you can handle this in global profiles and the associated TX profile and now that TX profiles are not autosaved (if you turn off autosave) this should work for you.
That might not be what you wish today, but it is at least solution you have available today.

It works with one big BUT. The Max power setting in Radio setup - TX folder is not part of the TX profile. If you randomly move the mouse wheel when located on RF power slider, it will easily override power value stored in the TX profile. That behavior is pretty dangerous for PA. By my opinion, Max Power value should be field in TX profile.
