MARS operations

in FLEX-6000 Signature Series

I purchased a while back a used 6500. I was told it had MARS frequencies, however when I wanted to try the TUNE icon was blackened and would not work. When I returned back to normal frequency's it worked fine. Am I missing a step to make it operate on MARS?

    Hi Bud… best to contact the Help Desk and provide them with your radio's Serial #. They can then check to see if the MARS mod was shipped to the previous owner.

    If not, then you'll need to order and install the module(s) to allow it to work on MARS frequencies.

    For the FLEX-6500, no additional hardware is required, but you will need to open a support ticket and provide a copy of your MARS license. There is no charge for this.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
