Ethernet Port Speed for PGXL and TGXL
I am doing some cleanup on my network and noticed something interesting.
If I set the Ethernet port speed for my 6600 to 100MB/Full, everything works as expected.
If I set the Ethernet port speed for the TGXL and PGXL to 100MB/Full, I get an Ethernet link, but neither device can grab a DHCP address. If I change back to auto-negotiation, DHCP works fine.
When set to auto-negotiation, the TGXL and PGXL link up at 100MB/Full (according to the switch). It seems the devices have issues when a forced speed/duplex is set.
I have tried this with three switches, and the behavior is the same.
Is anyone else seeing this?

Hi,
Same issue here, anyone solved it ?

It could be that different networks and routers will give different results, so this may not help, but I found a simple solution here which was to set fixed IP addresses for my PGXL and TGXL.

Along the same vein… my TGXL is connected to an in-shack Ubiquiti Gigabit managed switch. This switch has been a reliable workhorse for years. I have computers, a POE-phone, printer, Flex6400, Maestro C, and never a hiccup.
My TGXL, when powered-up, will never get a DHCP address. After showing 0.0.0.0 for a short while, it self-assigns 169.x.x.x
Once up though, if I unplug and replug the RJ-45 network connection, it will get a DHCP address.
Annoying … so I set a static address, and it "just works" now.
I run my TGXL on a 19V 2A supply.
