Repeater shift when working FM on HF(10M)/6/2/440

The pan adapter display does not switch/show the transmit frequency when using an FM 2/440 repeater with a transverter or even a 6 meter/HF (10 meter) repeater for that matter.

IE Set repeater output frequency, set offset to x.**** MHz (+ or -), key up to transmit and the pan adapter does not change to the transmit frequency it stays on the receive frequency the transmit signal is off screen. This will give the user the impression that they are not transmitting and can't monitor the transmit signal or audio on the pan adapter. Yes, this same thing happens when running split, the pan adapter doesn’t switch to the transmit frequency if off screen. Most other rigs, as an example the IC-9700 or even IC-7300 with their pan adapters, the display follows the offset. Yes, you can widen the pan adapter display but then the transmit signal displayed is too narrow to discern any real modulation or frequency information.

If I might have a setting wrong, please let me know.

This is correct on how it works. The TX frequency does not show when in TX.

    OK, great to know.

Curious, how come, why not show the TX freq?

It is like using XIT. The SLICE Frequency display does not change to reflect the XIT offset frequency when you transmit.
