    Same here. The Facebook, Flex Radio Enthusiasts page has more information posted including photos. Some lucky, early buyers will start getting their new radios now.

    I am surprised that Flex Radio hasn't announced the shipping of the new Aurora radios in the Community. I received the email announcement and the Flex Radio Facebook page has two posts concerning the release and shipping. But, beyond comments in this thread there's nothing on the groups.io Flex Radio SmartSDR mailing list either.

    Flex Radio officially announced shipping of the new Aurora radios on Tuesday, since then, I have yet to see a post by anyone getting a shipping notice. Maybe the first batch is going to DX Engineering first. From the photo posted on Facebook of the burn-in rack, it looks like only 8 units at a time and no M model radios. Of course they could have several racks loaded with radios. But, only displayed one on Facebook.

    I am still surprised that there is nothing here on the Community other than this rumor/speculation thread.

    I am in group 1, and didn’t see any emails (I was like an October purchase). wonder if it is model specific.

    Group one model AU-510 ordered on 05-28-2025, got the email and waiting for the next step.

    I just found a post on the Flex Radio Enthusiasts Facebook page from someone who is expecting delivery of a AU-520M on the 23rd. So, it would appear that radios are shipping. And, there are those out there that understand those of us waiting for our new radios to ship would appreciate knowing from actual buyers that they are about to get their new radios and are willing to post about it. I don't see that as bragging as someone told me. I rather think of it as helping other buyers who are waiting for news of actual shipping, to know for certain that it is happening.

    I got the an email yesterday that group 1 has started shipping and to watch for a followup email. I am sure I am at the tail end of group 1 since I ordered in October!

    Glad you finally got the email. It explains a lot. I tend to get a bit anxious waiting for news about the new radios. Especially, my order for a AU-520M. I know that it will ship eventually. Sometimes, I am like the little kid waiting for Christmas to come. It seems to take forever. You would think that I would have outgrown that by now. But, at 75 I still get excited about new things. I guess some things never change! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone.

    I imagine that the Flex Radio staff will be getting off for a long Christmas break soon. And probably something similar next week for New Years. So, at least in my case, it's probably a good bet that I won't be seeing my new AU-520M for quite some time yet. ( I am pretty sure I am on Santa's Naughty List again) So, Merry Christmas to everyone at Flex Radio and all of the members of the Community.

    I have read of one person receiving tracking information last Friday. He received his new radio yesterday. But, because of the holidays, he hasn't done anything with it yet. He has more patience than I have!

    I am looking forward to getting the AU-520M. I like the idea of an all in one package that is energy efficient. If the new noise reduction features in SmartSDR are as good as those in Thetis for the Anan radios, I think it will be an awesome setup to have. Less clutter and plenty of power output will be a nice thing to have. Thankfully, 2026 is just around the corner. Maybe In a few more weeks more people will start getting shipping notices. I am certainly looking forward to getting mine. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone!

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
