Network Status on a Remote Station
In general I do have excellent network status and the latency is +/- 10 ms. My Flex 6400 is on a remote location connected to a local network. At home I do have my home network.
Sometimes the network status is dropping. The green indicator drop fron Excellent to Poor, indicator change from green to yellow and the sound stutters. In extreem situations I'm missing the connection to my radio. Logging off the SmartSDR and logging on again and I am re-connected.
I am wondering if this problem is located to the remote or to my local/home network? I am connected to my Flex 6400 by SmartSDR but I'm not sure which of the networks is causing problems.
Thank you for support!

We have a similar Problem . And i think it appeared mid this year out of the blue..maybe after an update to 3.9xx . It had worked years until that day.
Network is perfect with any test-software for UDP links and with other remote software. Flex 6400 over the wifi link ( 150Mbit) has latency issues and stuttering TX . After a long search i added another small switch ( cheap gigabit ) between the wifi link and the 100mbit Switch where the other stuff at that location is connected. The 6400 is connected to that small switch now , as well as the old switch. Then it works perfectly. If i reconnect directly to the 100mbit..the problem is back. The wifi router is set to 100mbit .
We plan to test with a single Gbit switch which we can control ( IBM SG Series old stuff ) to see what causes the problem.

Your problem is one that is not related to latency but to packets dropping. It isn't likely the radio, but the transport layer (the network you are using). My guess is that it is one of your network switches that isn't up to the task and might be flapping some sort.
Can you try a different switch and see if it gets any better? You might want to try some different cables.
