Slice-Master v.0.11.0g program don't work with new firmware 3.10.10

Hello Alex, yes I did read. I have Slicemaster and it does not work now. But as I said I do not understand the need for it. I use JTDX connected directly and it is perfect. I have CWSkimmer and I re-installed it with SDR Bridge and it works like it always did. That is why I mentioned it. But SDC is far superior as a skimmer and is seamless with Flex radios.

Now you ask about CW Skimmer without SDR Bridge or Slicemaster. But it must have something to create a bridge because it was designed for legacy radios and not SDR. On its own it cannot work, it must have Slicemaster or SDR Bridge or there is another even more complicated method.

I ran into the same issue when I upgraded my 6500 to 4.0.1.39161 this evening .. My Slice Master v0.11.0g stopped opening all the various apps .. I noticed an anomaly that Slice Master WOULD work and open the apps when I choose a profile that used all 4 pan adapters on my 6500 .. After reading this forum then going into my DAX menu I noticed ALL my IQstreams and RXstreams were turned ON even though I only choose a one pan adapter screen ... I tried turning OFF all the IQstreams and RXstreams except the one being used and I was able to get Slice Master to work correctly ... So for me, turning off the unused streams before starting Slice Master allowed Slice Master to open all the programs as it should ... Just a work around for anyone this may help ...

I would like to relay my experience with Slicemaster 6000 and SSDR versions higher than 3.1.19. I was using v3.8.2 when v4.0.1 came out. Installed that and Slicemaster stopped launching WSJTX when I would open it. Same errors that Alex posted. Tried not auto launching DAX when opening SSDR, then opening SM, then launch DAX. that would not work. Anyway, went back to v3.8.2, SM works. Decideed to experiment, and installed v3.9.18, SM works fine. Went to 3.9.19, SM still fine. went to v3.10.10, SM not working. Same with v3.10.15 and v4.0.1. Could never get SM to launch WSJTX with anything higher than v3.9.19. Ten v4.1.3 came out, and I installed it. Forgot I had unchecked the auto launch DAX button, and opened SSDR and then SM. All I saw was a message at the bottom of SM that no audio channels were present. Remembered that DAX was not open, and launched DAX. Then 2 instances of WSJTX opened! Then closed everything, and re opened SSDR and opened DAX, then opened SM. Back to not launching WSJTX with the same errors as Alex posted. Turned off auto launch DAX again, and closed everything, re opened SSDR and SM, when SM displayed the mixer panel, I launched DAX, and WSJT opened again. This is very repeatable, and works every time. So at least I can use V4 now with SM, just have to leave the auto launch DAX unchecked. This is a strange issue, and seems to be reported most by 6500 owners. Something seems to have changed with v4.1.3 that at least allows SM to find active slices, and I am fine with the manually launching DAX to enable SM to work. Just thought I'd share for the benefit of other frustrated 3.10 to v4.0 users.

Thanks.Mike. I had seen references to the .ini file, but didn't pursue it because sm worked fine with earlier versions. I'll try deleting the .ini file and let SM create a new one at next launch. At least that's what other posts have said would happen.

Great thanks to Dave's suggestion, it works for me now too, now I wonder why SM isn't being fixed? Is there no interest anymore?
