Logging Multople Instances of WSJT-X
What do folks use to log multiple instances of WSJT-X?
Is seems problematic.

Geoff,
If you use the WSJT '—rig_name=****' option, then each unique rig_name has its own WSJT log directory
including .ini file.
Works for me.

Hey Al…I initially set up WSJT-X using Slice Master. I use N3FJP logging software. If I have, say 2 instances, of WSJT-X open, one of FT8 and one on FT4, the logging software screen changes (displaying the mode of the last receive cycle presumably) at the end of each receive cycle.
I actually have not tried logging a contact and my concern is that the contact mode will not be recorded correctly in ACLog.
I'm not sure the timing of the transfer from the WSJT-X log to ACLog.
I am not using the WSJT-X logs directly.

I know nothing about Slicemaster or AClog..
Sorry, AL

Al… Do you use any logging program other than the WSJT-X logs?

Yes,
I use DX lab with JTalert in between WSJT and DXKeeper.

OK, if you are using WSJT-X with FT8 and FT4 instances do the contacts log correctly with the correct time and mode?

I'm going to start a new thread with a similar but different problem.
