Any way to see the satellite status...if there is a lock, etc.?

    In SmartSDR, go to Settings, Radio Setup…, GPS tab.

    Not sure if you're on a Mac, but you'll see the equivalent that Len depicts above under the "Radio" settings in SmartSDR for Mac.

    And even easier, you know you're locked when the power indicator turns blue. According to the Flex H/W manual: SOLID BLUE = GPS/GNSS-DO is locked.

    @K3CDY Hi Bill - Yes I'm on the macOS SmartSDR client but Radio > Flex 8400 Settings does not show any GPS tab or info at all that I can see. I've clicked every tab I can find!

    Pretty sure the 8400 does not have the Integrated 12-channel GNSS Receiver option. However I think you can install the optional GPSDO.

    It should be in the menu,sub tab GPS,and for GNSS lock is under radio tab,all in the menu. My 8400m has it.

    All of the 8000 radios have the GNSS receiver built-in.
