Slow boot time

When is this issue going to be resolved? It takes as long a 4 minutes for my 6400M to boot from OPERATE to RUN. V4 has failed us in so many ways. I have already changed the SD card thinking that was the issue, and as it turns out it is a glitch in the software. OK software gurus, where are you??

If you open a support ticket, they will get you looked at. This is not a problem with all radios. Just some (I know it looks like a lot, but with over 14,000 radios out there, it really isn't).

    Hi radiopshopbob.

I had the exact same trouble with 6600M. It has happily sorted itself out (without me doing anything !!).

See my post "Slow Boot Time".

You could try raising a ticket as Mike advises, but I chose not to as I considered there were enough tickets being raised for more important things.

Thank you all, but mine has had the SD card replaced and it worked fine for a day or two and then it went back to slow booting. You have to remember folks, I am not using SmartSDR to operate this radio, I bought the " M " model for a reason, I use the radio by it's self.
