Why would you think taking features away from existing FLEX owners was a good thing. I wonder who just took over running FLEX radio? Looks like you have gone the way of Disney and a few other corporations that are WOKE. This does not makes sense in so many way I can't tell you. I have been a FLEX owner from the beginning back in 2001 you guys have always been for the customer and keeping your radios up to date with the latest technology, in fact FLEX was usually ahead of the game or at least the leader. Now you have changed both my 6400M and 6600M into SWAN 500's. You need to think about which way your company is going. I see a lot of FLEX radios for sale now days, and mine just might be next. ICOM is looking better all the time. Regard, Bob Meadows W6MTM

    Hi Bob,

Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts, I can hear the frustration in your message, and I genuinely appreciate how long you’ve been part of the FlexRadio family. Anyone who has been with us since 2001 has seen the entire evolution of the platform, and your feedback matters.

I do want to make sure we’re addressing the real impact to your operation, though. In your note, you didn’t mention any specific feature you’re using today that has been taken away, or anything in your day-to-day operation that has changed for the worse. If something in your station isn’t working the way it used to, or if you believe you’ve lost functionality, I truly want to understand that so we can look into it.

SmartSDR v4 still includes all of the features and capabilities you’ve been using on your 6400M and 6600M. SmartSDR+ simply offers new optional features.

If there is something specific that has affected your operation please let me know. Without that information, it’s difficult to understand where the concern is coming from, and I want to make sure we address it accurately.

FlexRadio is absolutely committed to long-term support. We continue to release free maintenance updates, bug fixes, DSP improvements, and reliability enhancements for every radio model, including yours. That hasn’t changed.

Again, I appreciate your passion and your long history with us. If you can share exactly what feature you feel was removed.
