SmartSDR License Server - Accessible through CG-NAT? Through VPN instead?

I plan to go to my remote site the end of this week to install SmartSDR v.4.0.1 on two radios and my Maestro. In reading the release notes it mentions that one must revalidate your radio software license through the SmartSDR License server first (Page 1 of release notes). Will I be able to reach that server if my ISP has CGNAT? Is there a workaround? I plan to install a VPN very soon, but I will add a VPN if needed. Thanks for any input.

If your radios have normal internet access (I suspect they do) then they will quickly update their license.

I'm on an ISP with cgnat and I've always had no issue getting to through to the license server including with v4.01 SmartSDR+, however SmartLink is does not work. I'm hoping getting SmartLink to work with cgnat ISPs is something developers will be addressing.

Thanks, Mike and Mike! I'll head to the remote site later this week with greater confidence it will all work well!
