4.0.1 has broken iOS app

in SmartSDR for iOS
The upgrade has broken the iOS app - no waterfall or audio.

Anybody else having issues?

    Yes, I’ve experienced this for many days as I was looking at my Internet trying to figure out if the provider changed something I restarted the radio several times I restart my modem several times checked all my network configuration trying to figure out what was going on why I was not getting audio and waterfall. Once I saw the app was available for an upgrade and I did the upgrade. It seemed to resolve the issue.

    I have reported this issue several days ago to the developer of the app. Please take time to send him an email and describe your situation…

    If I try to use Profiles the display will freeze. I turn the app off and restart…it starts working again until I try to change bands with a Profile. If I use memories to change bands it works fine. BTW I completed the update the day version 4 was made available.

    I have two older IPads that won't update to IOS SmartSDR and so no longer work with SmartSDR 4.01, My MAC book is also to old to work with or update using Marcus's software, So much for Apple products being superior. I Just hope there is continuing work on the Android version to move away from this problem.

    Apple does have this limitation due to computing power requirements. I just had to trade in my older iPad Pro for the same reason. Part of my love / hate relationship with Apple! :)

    Ronald I have exactly the same situation with my iOS. Something similar happens also with Mac version. In addition when doing changes to the profiles and saving them sometimes changes wont get saved. Need to repeat same moves 2-3 times before they will be concreted. Surely he will fix em sooner or later.

    Thanks for all of the replies. I think the problem was caused by the app not updating as I have older versions of iOS on my devices - not sure why the ipad hadn't updated as it was set to autoupdate the OS.

    Looks like it's an excuse for me to get a new phone though!

    If yours is like mine the IOS is stuck on version 15 (I think) and won't update further because of the hardware doesn't support it and Apple doesn't support old hardware, on my Phone it is a version 18 and the new SmartSDR IOS App installed just fine.

    I contacted Marcus back when my MAC Book Pro wouldn't update and he said he wasn't supporting the older hardware with the new Update to SmartSDR when 3.9 came out.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
