I have tried a null modem cable and straight cable. I cannot get the TGXL to hear the radio.

What am I over looking? Baud same set up on both ends.

Peter, I would send and email to 4O3A and ask them for the correct configuration.

Has anyone come up with a solution to connect the FTDX-101 to the Tuner Genius? I am having all sorts of issues. I have emailed 4O3A and I am awaiting a response.

    Thanks

    hi Adam

Contact me at my QRZ address. I wrote a white paper for interfacing the FTdx101D to the Genius Trio (PG XL, TG XL, AG).

You can use it for connection of TG.

Straight through RS 232 cable from Yaesu to CAT port of TG. Set Yaesu RS232c baud to 9600, 8,n1. Set RTS off.
in TG CAT tab, enable CAT and set to Yaesu 2 9600 8,n1.

The TG should show frequency of VFO A.

RCA cable from TX REQ on Taesu to PTT in on TG.

PTT Out of TG to amp.
