Smartsdr doesn't start

I have a flex 8600 and am running Windows 11. I used Smrtsdr 3.9.19 when I acquired this machine new a few months ago. It seemed to work OK. I then upgraded to 3.10.10. It worked fine initially but then started to fail booting up. I now get a screen page showing details of Com ports. If I click on the area showing flexradio 8600, I get a popup showing my name and callsign with a big sign saying Connect. I press this and the screen clears. Nothing happens so I try again with same result.

I decided to re-install 3.9.19 this morning. Same result. I looked at other notes on this problem and did cold boot. Still got nowhere.

Can somebody tell me what I am doing wrong please. I can't believe that I have to keep going to earlier versions in order to find one to boot.

This is likely some sort of problem with Windows and SmartSDR. I have opened a support ticket for you.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
