Radio wants to power down??

when I close SSDR v31010 radio wants to power down then powers up (button blinks red then green then solid green)??? this problem showed on my 6700 and now on my 6400. It doesn't happen every time I close SSDR, just some of the time! I run the PGXL, TGXL and AGXL via a common Gigabit Ethernet switch to the radio, PC and router. This behavior first showed up on 3919. PC on latest W11. All stuff on latest firmware. I recently sold the 6700 so the 6400 is all I have connected to the Switch.

When the button blinks red, can you see how many times it blinks? Is it repetative?

A blinking red light is indicative of a problem in the radio and the # of blinks is diagnostic.

Do you have something connected to the remote RCA connector?

Don, NO, I don't know how many times it blinked, it hasn't done it since I made the post. Next time I'll know enough to count the blinks.

Mike, the 6700 had all the RCA connectors used but none are being used on the 6400.

Thank you for taking the time to respond to my post! Dennis, k0eoo

When you are able to count the flashes, let us know. And, my questions is based on just 1 RCA connector in which this might cause a shut down. When / if it happens again, please take a moment give us a bit more of a discription of what is going on so we can work to recreate the problem.
