Maestro B & 8600 Slice C and D

Hi,

Is there a way access Slices C and D while using the Maestro B with and 8600?

    HI Reggie… slices are created as you request them. For instance, when you want to listen to two different frequencies on the same band or two different bands. Since you have an 8600, you should be able to open up to 4 slices simultaneously.

    Now, whether they are specifically named 'C' and 'D' when you open them, I can't be sure since I don't have a Maestro.

    No, the Maestro nor the front panel of the M model radios can access more than 2 panadapters and slice receivers on the display. The hardware isn't capable of handling all four at the same time. You can access all four on the Desktop using SmartSDR for Windows or Mac. If you run the Maestro and SmartSDR on the pc at the same time, both can only use two panadapters at the same time. Or, one on the Maestro and three in SmartSDR on the pc.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
