6600 Reboots

Radio disconnects from SSDR and reboots just sitting in receive usually after many hours. I did a factory reset and I thought it might have cured it but after being on for about 16 hrs it did it again. I also have a 6400 that is on 24/7 and never complains. Both on the same network. The 6600 will do this using SSDR for a Mac or PC. Just upgraded both to .19. Any thoughts?

    • If you haven't back up your profiles and reset the radio and see if that helps.
    • Quite often, if the radio crashes, it can be a loss of network communications between the radio and the client. You might try using a different LAN port on your switch and maybe even replacing cables.

    Those are my thoughts.

I've done a factory reset and I thought that might have been the cure. It lasted a lot longer before the disconnect and reboot. Last night I swapped the lan cable with my 6400 sitting beside it and left on over night but it was disconnected from SSDR on my Mac in the morning. My 6400 is steady as a rock.

If it happens repeatedly again, open a support ticket.

    thanks

So far it is still going strong, no reboot since 7AM AZT this morning, but I submitted a support ticket anyway. By the way when it disconnects on a PC , power button flashes red twice a few times then reboots indicating a software problem according to the manual.
