SSDR v3.9.18

I just wanted to say thanks to the entire FRS team for SSDR v3.9.18. If I see anything that may be of help to improve the Smart Signal algorithm I will pass to help desk. A great year for FRS. First Aurora and now 3.9.18. Good deal. Radio updated in less than 3 minutes w/o a hiccup.

    Also my thanks for the Flex team for the hard work.. Just a warning though, It reset my TX delay to 0. I had it on 40. So people might have to check that .

    Hi Wayne, my TX Delay stayed the same on my 6400. Which rig do you have?

    I wonder if there is a difference in the 6000 and 8000 series radios here. I just fixed all my CW profiles and they seem to be working now. Did your CW options get reset with the upgrade?

    Hi Len,

    Skimming through the v3.9 change log it looks like they did some surgery on that area of the code so maybe there's a first-time-through reset required to get initialized again ? Glad its working now.

    Hey Len,

    You're a big time Flex guy, do you happen to know if FR addressed the infamous "arbitrary and random interlock" issue in this rev. ? There's some vague language about interlocks in the notes but it doesn't say specifically that I can see. I know they still haven't fixed the incomplete "RF Amplifier Gain setting gets lost" issue because I checked on that. Which is weird because Steve said they fixed over 370 bugs in this revision. I kinda expected all the big hitters to finally get addressed. Maybe not …

    Does anyone knows what is that field on maestro showed up on ver3.9.18?

    SSDR shows a lot of signals with, this window is empty. I do not see anything in Release notes.

    I upgraded and everything seems to work fine. However, I don't see the Tuner Genius option. I read the release notes and it said I needed to be running firmware version 1.2.17 or above on the TGXL. I am on 1.2.11. However, when I go to download the firmware it says that version is compatible with AG v3 and I am on AG v4? Not sure what to do here.

    Im using Maestro A as smart control. With 1 panadapter open, Maestro black screen looks fine and takes up most of the screen like it should. But when I open a second panadapter on SmartSDR, the Smart Control Mode black screen, changes to half and on bottom part looks like a panadapter. I rebooted Maestro, but didnt fix it. Is this what your getting?

    it seems like some bug as it it is not advertise in release notes and this extra screen is empty. I will open support ticket.

    I have SmartControl mode display issue as well. But mine is this:

    This is with a 6400M. I have tried rebooting, full reset, etc to no avail.

    Ditto for Erik's issue. Same screen on 6600M with start of Smart Control and prior to start up of SmartSDR on computer. Once SmartSDR on computer is up and running the screen on the 6600M returns to normal showing the Smart Control box with the controlling SmartSDR device in the drop down section.

    But when you close SSDR, the problem reappears.

    At least they’re working on a fix. Still works just a visual annoyance

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu.
