I followed the directions in:

https://www.dxlabsuite.com/dxlabwiki/GettingStartedwithK1JTModesWithJTAlert

But when I have two instances of WSJTX open when I change frequency from one they both change. If I click a decoded call in A both slices in SSDR move to the same frequency as does WSJTX and DXL.

I know I am close but pulling my hair for past 3 days trying to get this right with no luck.

Then I need to integrate JTAlert….oh boy!

Tnx

    Hi Greg,

There is a great way to get super high quality help directly from the developer of DXLab Suites, Dave Bernstein. Sign up (for free) for the DXLab group at groups.io (https://groups.io) and submit your question. His support is a great as his software - and that's saying something.

    Hi Greg

Long day! Just got home from Dayton (back in NJ)

Looks like you have both A and B set for same TCP COM port. In CAT you want one TCP com port on slice A and a different TCP COM port for B.

I would suggest then using a program such as JTAlert as middleware between the two instances of WSJT-X and DX Labs. In JTAlert there is a setting under logging to use DX Labs.

and I’ll second the comments support for DX Labs from Dave is top notch. And free!

Hi Dave. I spent a few hours setting up with WQ6Q who is using this setup. The problem was Dave insisted on using the DXCommander protocol in WSJTX. Instead we used the Flex Slice A to Slice D protocols which then treats each slice as a separate radio. He then showed me how to setup JTAlert as I had no experience with it. No I can run 4 slices - 4 instances of WSJTX and 4 corresponding instances of JTAlert. All seems to be running well. Hope you got some rest!!! I am going to try to go next year.
