SmartLink registration of used radio

Howdy,

I'm trying to register a previously owned 6600 and am receiving the error 'SmartLink refused command'. I have manually created the port forwards (and associated rules) in my firewall.

Is necessary for the previous owner to de-register the radio before I can register it?

What can I do if the previous owner is unreachable/unresponsive?

Thanks & 73!

The most common cause of this error is that the SmartSDR software either hasn't made a connection or lost it's connection to the SmartLink server. We are working on improving the notification when this happens (or just correcting it if possible) in future versions. Until then, restarting the SmartSDR software should fix this problem. If not, please open a helpdesk ticket and we'll do what we can to help you get this figured out.

Note that registering the radio overwrites any previous owners registration, so you shouldn't have to contact the previous owner whether they unregistered or not.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
