10 Mhz Reference Out

in FLEX-8000 Signature Series

This is my 1st time using a GPDSO. I have verified the GPDSO is locked and the 10 MHz Reference signal is locked on the GPDSO as well. I decided to hook my oscilloscope to the 10MHz Reference out and look for the signal. I am using a 50 ohm bnc cable about 3' long. I found I don't see any signal at all on the port.

I assumed I would be able to see the reference clock output signal. I tested the setup using my Elecraft signal generator and had no issues seeing the 40 meter reference signal

I am curious to know if any one else has measured the 10Mhz reference signal out source.

    I think you need the optional Flex GPSDO unit installed in your 8600 to see anything at the 10M ref output port.

    The 10Mhz connector is only installed if the GPSDO is installed.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
