Power limitation for each slice independently
Hello Flex radio Community. I was wondering if for a Flex like 6600/6700 or the new 8600 with 2 scu the power limitation (less than 100watts) can be done independently for each slices, this in order to drive 2 different PA that requires not the same power to be driven.
Example: on antenna 1 a Spe Amplifier that need 20w for full power; on antenna 2 a tube amplifier that need 50w for full power.
Does anyone had this experience with that ? 73s

Transmit Profiles can be associated independently to each TX Output (ANTENNA or XVTR) port.
Create two different Transmit Profiles.
Edit the TX Band SETTINGS table for each of the two different TX Profiles to set the Power Output for each band in that profile.
Name them something like "TX ANT1" and "TX ANT2"Now: Associate one with Transmit ANT1 and the other with Transmit ANT2
(To associate a TX Profile with an antenna output, simply select the TX Profile while that TX Antenna is the Active TX Slice)
That should do it.
