Turf file for EU

I recently purchased a second hand Flex 6600, but the Radio does not cover 5Mhz TX. Where can I obtain the appropriate turf file?

Best bet is to create a Help Desk Ticket. The staff will then guide you through the process of them developing a TURF file for your radio and then how to install it.

Are you sure it doesn't cover 60M?

Are you transmit settings correct? If you exceed the legal bandwidth, then the radio will not go into TX.

As a start, make sure you LPF on the TX Settings are less than 3000hz. This is a very common error.

Hi Mike… I suspect that the UK allocation is different from the 'channelized' set in the US — hence the need for a different TURF file. This is from the RSGB website:

UK radios are shipped with the correct Turf file. First, we need to confirm it isn't a operator configuration issue.

This can be confirmed in the Radio Setup menu where it displays what region is loaded.

So Charlie… if Help Desk has not already asked..

What do you see on the Radio Setup tab under Settings? on the top right, there is a Region: label. What does it say beside that?

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
