smartlink not working

in SmartSDR for Windows
I have a 6500 and it connects to smartlink with no problem. I purchased a used 6400 and I can't get it to connect to smartlink link. i followed the factory reset procedure but that did fix it either..

    Make sure you follow all the steps in Chapter 9 of the SmartSDR manual as it sounds like you might have missed something.

    Thanks but it was a router problem its fixed now.

    I let a friend log in to my smartlink account while he was fighting bad local noise in his area ever since he logged into mine i can't remove his radio from my account can you please help me remove it..

    Who ever has the control of the radio has to deregister the radio which you can do in the radio chooser of SmartSDR (when you start SmartSDR). They have to hit the PTT switch to deregister it.

    If you are still having an issue, please open a support ticket.

    just throwing this out there. my 6500 was connecting to smartlink with no problem and then suddenly stopped. i spent a week chasing rabbits and never caught one. finally called my isp {cspire} and discovered they had given me a private ip address. they changed it to a public ip and everything is working fine. hope this helps someone down the line.

    More and more cases of this will start to creep up as the world runs out of available IPv4 addresses.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
