What is the word WIDE refer to in the upper right corner of the Maestro display?

If you have two or more panadapters open on different bands, SmartSDR will display Wide which indicates that the bandpass filters are disengaged. If they are on the same band, the bandpass filters will stay engaged and you won't see Wide in the display.

Quote “if the displayed spectrum after the zoom operation exceeds the width of the band pre-selectors, the radio will switch to wideband mode, which causes the radio to open the band pass filters to their maximum bandwidth. When this occurs, any panadapters using that antenna will display WIDE in the top right corner to indicate that they are in wideband mode.”

Wide shows up if when the RX Band Pass filters are bypassed. There are no Band Pass Filters on a FLEX-6300.
- you exceed the bandwidth of the current ham band you are listening to in the panadapter for the SCU you are using. Start widening the Panadapter and you'll see the indicator come on
- On the x600 series and 6700, with 2 SCUs you can be active on 2 different bands without WIDE coming if you are within the ham bands and you are using 2 different SCUs.
- WIDE will also come on if you are using RXa, RXb, XVTa or XVTb as a receiving antenna
You can see it here on my VHF station due to the use of the transverter ports.
