    Hoping for an 8400M/8600M user guide in the near future.

    Wow Dan, this is a very comprehensive manual - nicely done! I appreciate the effort that went into the diagrams, pictures and explanations. This is so much more than just a picture of the rig with labels identifying jacks and buttons.

    I love a good printed manual for complex equipment, so I brought the 8000 pdf to Staples to have it printed and bound ($$). This one looks great in printed form.

    Thought: While corrections and other changes/additions are being made for the next issue, wouldn't it be handy to keep a "change sheet" so previously printed versions could be updated, rather than printing the whole thing again? Please consider something like this. Thanks!

    I printed it in B&W for about $25 and had them bind it.

    Coming from a 6700 I had to change XLR connector from PR40 to a TRS connector for the 8600. A diagram such as this would be helpful in the new manual. I wanted to be sure not to reverse 2 and 3 (tip/ring)

    Folks, thank you for your thoughtful suggestions.

    @Mike - that's a great addition and I'll incorporate it.

    @Jim - regarding change sheets for the manual. Implementing such updates would require careful consideration of paging and formatting to ensure they are both effective and easy to use. A more generous use of white space might be necessary to make the changes clear and practical for users to integrate into printed copies.

    I'll take your idea into serious consideration and evaluate the feasibility of incorporating a change sheet process in future revisions. You are right, this could add significant value for operators who prefer physical manuals and want to keep them up-to-date without reprinting the entire document.

    Thanks again for the input, and I appreciate your support of the FLEX-8000 series documentation efforts.
