Downloaded SmartSDR v3.8.2 and DAX Audio RX 1 missing

Everything worked FB until download. Can not even transmit SSB . Now when I push mic PTT, a SDR black box appears with Transmit slice has not been selected.

I also switched the WSJT-x transmit selection from TS-2000 and COM 4 which worked FB to Flex 6xxx and TCP Port 127.0.0.1:2004 as Flex discussion advised.

Smart SDR black box with Transmit slice has not been selected immediately appears when I push mic PTT.

I can not configure WSJT-x to my Flex 6500 because DAX Audio RX 1 is missing. I reinstalled v3.8.2, and now DAX TX Audio is also missing on my WSJT-x v2.6.1.

WSJT shows only DAX Audio RX 2 through 8 present and no DAX TX Audio. I reinstalled WSJT-x v2.6.1 again and still no DAX Audio RX1 or DAX TX Audio.

My Windows 11 computer Device Manager also shows only DAX RX 2- 8 present. However, it does list DAX Audio TX.

    UPDATE I can transmit on HF , but not XVTR, my Q5 FiveBander which are the only bands I normally operate with my Flex 6500. As stated before, when I push the mic PTT on any of my XVTR bands, the "Transmit slice has not been selected" message is displayed.

    Hi Doug,

    Select the transmit slice by clicking on the TX indicator so that the background is red.

    Thank you Len, but that is not the problem. Let's take one problem at a time. Device Manager shows no DAX Audio RX 1. How do I recover DAX Audio RX 1? I've reinstalled SmartSDR v3.7.4. twice, but DAX Audio RX 1 remains missing. Yes, I can use any of the other DAX Audio RX 2 through 8, temporarily, another problem for later after we solve the missing DAX Audio RX 1 problem.

    1. Open a support ticket. Reinstalling won't fix it.
    2. Transverter - review your TX Band Settings and make sure the PTT for your transverter is selected
    3. If you are using automatic band switching on the 5 band, check to make sure that USB device is correctly configured

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor.
