Ken, I'm taking about the non TRS Y cable that comes with the Maestro

use the cable from the mic that came with the radio.
The cable at Microphone is an RJ45 with rubber boot over it. Pull back the boot and there is a tab to release the RJ45 from mic.
or just use the mic that was included with the radio.
