RTTY and split operation
Have been searching on how to use split with RTTY. Very handy when trying to get through a pile-up. So far all things I've tested, always seems to revert back to sliceA i.e. only way to have the transmitter off-set is by using XIT, which is not the most ergonomic way.
I have tried Fldigi, N1MM and SDC, but have not been able to configure so I can receive on one slice and transmit on another. Any suggestions??

Hi Lasse, try this:
Open two slices, A and B (not using the Split button)
Close slice A
Click the Split button on B
This will leave you with receive on B and transmit on A. I haven't actually operated this way, but it looks like it would work. If you have a 6600 or 6700, I am not sure if you need to open the other available slices to force it to pick A.

Len,
thanks for the tip! It works, just tested with Fldigi! Amazing, I would never had figured this out by myself :)
