Complete Reset of 6600
I have read Tim's discussion of resetting the 6600, so if I choose to resell my 6600 (8600 on the way-Yea!) but I have a question.
After I do a reset and wipe out my call sign and nickname, and unregister the Smartlink Account, does the person who buys the radio have to buy a new copy of SSDR? I am currently running the up to date 3.8.19.
What is especially confusing is how can another person run the same version of software at the same time I'll be running it on my new radio?
Thanks for your help and 73.

No, SmartSDR in the radio is licensed to the radio itself. Your buyer should have no issues other than setting up SmartLink if he/she, uses it.
