Signals disappearing with higher gain
When gain set to 0 on a slice I see signals. I have increased to +8dB and +16db and instantly the signals disappear. This is on my 20m slice. I have switched between two different antennas on this slice (a 20m inverted V and a multi band EFHW) and I can replicate the problem between both antennas.
For reference, on Slice A, I have a 40m antenna and I do not have this problem. The signal and noise increase as gain increases but I can still see the signals.

Hi Paul, if I understand correctly, the issue happens on ANT2 but not on ANT1, correct?
I assume that you have a 6600 or 6700 and therefore 2 SCUs.
It sounds like SCU2 has a preamp issue. You might try a factory reset (after exporting your profiles). In the likely event that this does not fix the issue, submit a help desk ticket.

I have done the factory reset and cold boot process, re imported my profiles, and still have the same issue. ANT 1 behaves normally. I have submitted a ticket, but in the mean time anyone have any idea of what else I can check?

This sounds like a hardware / support issue. It looks like it has to come in for a spa day.
