No Power Output from Flex 6400

I have a Flex 6400 and a Palstar HF-Auto tuner. All of a sudden am not getting any power output. I did not hear, smell or see any issues at any time. I see a wave form in the waterfall and movement on the SDR Power meter but no movement at all on the SWR Meter and no power indicated on the tuner. This is happening on all bands and all mode I have done a Comprehensive Cold Boot and Factory Reset of the radio. Receive is working just fine. Any suggestions on what to check or try?

    Dave,

    What version of SmartSDR?

    What Mode?

What happens if you set Tune to 100%?

    v3.4.24

Modes: DIGU, CW, SSB (Did not check others)

Same results if Tune is 100%

Hi Dave, can you post a screen shot of SmartSDR?

You should upgrade to 3.7 as there are many performance improvements over 3.4. (that isn't your issue though)

The RF watt meter in the radio is an actual watt meter that does read RF power which tells me we have RF out of the radio after the power amplifier and before the antenna connectors.

Can you read any power with an external watt meter and a dummy load?

This is looking like the radio is ok, but you might have an issue after the antenna connector.

It looks like you have no RF out, when in "Tune"?

Select CW as the mode. On the side panel, check the "Pitch" is set for 600. No CW pitch, no RF out.

He does have his pitch set to 600.. Just in case you missed (and, you usually don't miss much) LOL

It's working now! Thanks for everyone's help. I changed to a different antenna and installed SDR version 3.7.4. and it worked. I put the original antenna back on and there seems to be a problem with one of the coax connectors and when I replaced it things are working on the original antenna.

Again. Thanks for all the quick replies to my question to get me back on the air,

Excellent. Seeing the watt meter really helped. You can trust that to work just like an external watt meter. It was designed that way exactly for this reason.
