Maestro C Battery Duration

The Flex website says the Maestro C battery (RRC2054-2) will last 10 hours before recharging. I have 2 batteries. Each lasts about 5 hours. Fortunately, the external charger will recharge one before the other becomes exhausted from use. I take it I should slow and dim the display to achieve the 10 hour specification?

    Neil, I would follow up with support on this. 9 is pretty normal and 10 is very possible. Something is different with your setup.

    Does it get better if you turn down the screen brightness, as a thought?

    screen brightness and volume are two contributing factors to current draw.

    I had a power failure Monday and didn’t realize the maestro was on. It was sitting at radio chooser screen since radio equipment in garage had no power. Six hours later a we got power back. Maestro was at 41% battery.

    On Sundays I “Uber” my mother-in-law to church. In nicer weather I will sit in a park that has WiFi coverage from my ISP and use the Maestro. Not a real POTA activation but still fun to get fully looks from people walking by.

    I lowered the brightness and the battery charge lasted 8+ hours. Evidently that was my problem.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
